What about resumes that can be e-mailed?

Q. What about resumes that can be e-mailed?

A. It's best to e-mail straight ASCII resumes. Lines should not exceed 80 characters. Sections should be separated by blank lines.

Even if a recipient has the facilities to print out Postscript or (La)TeX resumes, resumes in these formats cannot be easily put into a text database for a subsequent keyword search.
